Overview

Coralisle Group Ltd. (“CG”), formerly Colonial Group International Ltd., was incorporated in Bermuda as a holding company in 1996. CG and its subsidiaries have commercial operations in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, Barbados and the Turks and Caicos Islands. CG product offering is primarily health and property and casualty insurance. The Group also underwrites certain life products and issues a diversified portfolio of investment contracts to provide its customers with asset management solutions for their savings and retirement assets.

In May 2022, CG completed the acquisition of CG United Insurance Ltd. (formerly Massy United Insurance Ltd.), which expanded CG’s geographical presence to 21 jurisdictions inclusive of Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Aruba, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Belize, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Monserrat, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines. CG United Insurance Ltd. (“CG United”) is a pan-Caribbean Property & Casualty (“P&C”) insurance provider headquartered in Barbados offering primary product lines in property, motor, accident, engineering and marine.

Throughout 2023 as we complete the integration process of the acquisition, we will be supplementing the below with further details on the product offering and licensing details of CG United’s operations.

Bermuda

CG is a Bermuda based holding company with commercial operations in Bermuda and the Caribbean. CG is comprised of independently incorporated companies in jurisdictions as outlined below.

Coralisle Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Class 3A Insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and offers Personal and Business Property & Casualty Insurance.

Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd. is licensed as a Class 3B Insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and offers Group and Individual Health Insurance, Group Life Insurance and other employee benefits (Vision, Dental, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Disability, Critical Illness, Supplemental Accident).

Coralisle Life Assurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Class C Insurer by the Bermuda Monetary Authority and offers individual life insurance products.

Coralisle Pension Services Ltd. is licenced to conduct Investment Business by the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Coralisle Pension Services Ltd. acts as administrator for and offers Group Pension Plans, Individual Retirement Plans, Post-Retirement Products.

The Bahamas

CG Atlantic General Insurance Ltd. is licenced as a General Insurer by the Insurance Commission of The Bahamas and offers Personal and Business Property & Casualty Insurance through various agents and brokers.

CG Atlantic Medical & Life Insurance Ltd. is licenced as a Long-Term Insurer by the Insurance Commission of The Bahamas and offers Group and Individual Health Insurance, Individual and Group Life Insurance products and other employee benefits (Vision, Dental, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Disability, Critical Illness, Supplemental Accident).

Coralisle Pension Services (Bahamas) Ltd. is licenced as a firm (i) dealing in securities as agent; (ii) arranging deals; (iii) managing securities; and (iv) advising on securities by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas. They offer Group Pension Plans, Individual Investment Plans and Post-Retirement Products.

Coralisle Pension Services (Bahamas) Ltd.  is the administrator of the Bahamas Master Retirement and Savings Trust (a trust established under the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas) and holds assets for the pension plans administered by Coralisle Pension Services (Bahamas) Ltd.

Coralisle Pension Services (Bahamas) Ltd. is the fund administrator and investment manager of the Coralisle Bahamas Fund

CG Atlantic Insurance Agents & Brokers Ltd. is licenced as an Agent and Broker by the Insurance Commission of The Bahamas. CG Atlantic Insurance Agents & Brokers Ltd. acts as agent solely for CG Atlantic General Insurance Ltd.

Cayman Islands

British Caymanian Holdings Company Limited is a Cayman Islands holding company which owns British Caymanian Insurance Company Limited and British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited.

British Caymanian Insurance Company Limited is licenced as a Class A Insurer by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and offers Personal and Business Property & Casualty Insurance.

British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited is licenced as an insurance broker by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority. British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited acts as agent to Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd., Coralisle Pension Services Ltd. and Coralisle Life Assurance Company Ltd. in the Cayman Islands.

Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Class A Insurer by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

Coralisle Pension Services Ltd. holds a restricted trust licence with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

The Coralisle Master Deed Cayman Islands (a trust established under the laws of Cayman Islands) is registered with the Department of Labour and Pensions pursuant to the National Pensions Law 1998 Coralisle Pension Services Ltd. is the approved administrator of the Coralisle Master Deed Cayman Islands.

Coralisle Life Assurance Company Ltd. is licensed as a Class A Insurer by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

British Virgin Islands

Coralisle Insurance (BVI) Ltd. is licensed as a Category A Insurer by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission and offers Personal and Business Property & Casualty Insurance as well as Group and Individual Health and Life Insurance and other employee benefits (Vision, Dental, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Disability, Critical Illness, Supplemental Accident).

Coralisle Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Category B Insurer by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission.

Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Category B Insurer by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission.

Coralisle Life Assurance Company Ltd. is licenced as a Category B Insurer by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission.

Turks & Caicos Island

Coralisle Insurance Brokers (TCI) Ltd. is licenced as an Insurance Broker by the Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission.

CG Atlantic General Insurance Ltd. holds a non-life insurance licence by the Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission.

Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as an Insurer by the Turks and Caicos Islands Financial Services Commission.

Barbados

Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd. is licenced as an Insurance Company by the Barbados Financial Services Commission and offers Group and Individual Health and Life Insurance products and other employee benefits (Vision, Dental, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Disability, Critical Illness, Supplemental Accident) through various brokers and agents.

International

Coralisle is the global brand used by Coralisle Group Ltd. and its subsidiaries. The Coralisle global brand is also referred to as CG.

In Bermuda, the companies which form the CG Group are Coralisle Insurance Company Ltd., Coralisle Medical Insurance Company Ltd., Coralisle Pension Services Ltd., and Coralisle Life Assurance Company Ltd

In The Bahamas, the member companies of the CG Group are CG Atlantic General Insurance Ltd., CG Atlantic Medical & Life Insurance Ltd. and Coralisle Pension Services (Bahamas) Ltd., and CG Atlantic Insurance Agents& Brokers Ltd. which operate under the brands of CG Atlantic General, CG Atlantic Medical & Life and CG Atlantic Agents.

In Cayman, the member companies of the CG Group are British Caymanian Holdings Limited, British Caymanian Insurance Company Limited and British Caymanian Insurance Agencies Limited which operate under the brand of CG BritCay.

CG Group companies are licensed or otherwise approved to transact business in various countries and jurisdictions. Several of the CG Group’s member companies hold various licences to operate in multiple jurisdictions. CG Group’s Property and Casualty Insurance operations offer the following product brands: Road User, Home Options, Business Options, Office Options, Condo Options as well as Travel Insurance, Contract Works Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance, Director’s and Officer’s Liability Insurance and Cyber Risk Insurance.
